“I use laser cut components, which I shape using a hydraulic pres and then hand fabricate and texture. The laser cutting gives a beautiful edge to the metal. Due to the fact that they are hand built, each snowdrop is slightly different in shape and proportion; left handed or right handed. With their height and density they stand out in a border or against a dark hedge. Have them within reach though, as they are a bit of a must to to touch.”

A pair made out of Portoro Marble
Each piece is 30cm x 37cm x 19cm
Portoro is a stunning rare Italian marble, which has so far only been found in one small area on the west coast of Italy. There are difficulties quarrying this marble as it is found below the sea bed.
This sculpture was inspired by ammonite fossils that can be found hidden inside nodules, that when cracked open reveal the fossil within.
