About the sculpture Large Grazing Head – This is a large scale sculpture of the first bronze I ever made, “Grazing Head”. I had so much great feedback from the small version I felt drawn to make this bigger piece and I’m so pleased with the results.

About Chloe – Chloe is a sculpture artist based in the heart of the Cotswolds. She specialises in equine sculptures but can produce other animal if requested in bronze using the lost wax method. Chloe originally trained as a digital artist in 2012 and work as freelance digital sculptor until recently venturing into the world of traditional sculpture. “The transition from digital to traditional sculpture felt like a step backwards in time, but has proved to be a massive leap forward in my goals and dreams” Chloe has a passion for horses, which you can see in her sculpture work, both digital and traditional. When Chloe isn’t busy in the studio she is usually found in the stables where she works for an event rider, caring for 3 horses. “I honestly feel like the luckiest girl alive, I love sculpture and horses and I literally spend all my days doing both – So unbelievably grateful for my life”.

About the sculpture Final Hurdle – I was Inspired to make this racehorse sculpture following a day out at Cheltenham races. The aim was to create a sculpture that portray’s the agility, speed and power of a racehorse taking flight over a hurdle. The Thoroughbred Horse is used for racing and are known for being bold, athletic, energetic, versatile, intelligent, alert, courageous, and excitable. One of my most favourite horses to ride.

About the sculpture Iceberg – Originally created as a commission for an International event rider, “Iceberg” is a very talented 3* event horse, with a cheeky personality. A thouroghbread horse who has incredible ability in all 3 phases. He has an big trot with a lot of front leg actin and would flick his toes out which has been captured in this sculpture perfectly.

About the sculpture Little Leo – Originally created as a commission but I had so much fun working on it and was so pleased with the results I decided to cast a edition of 6. Leo was top level event horse with so much scope, unfortunately retired now due to injury. He has incredibly beautiful big eyes, and was known in the Eventing world for landing all his jumps with very straight front legs and with one hoof always landing first.

Tenderness is part of my relationship series and is simply portraying the care and kindness that is owed to all creatures however great or small. This statue is a woman, gently holding a small rabbit close to her chest, showing love and care towards animals.
