    Cowrie by Hamish MacKie £32,000

    Stainless Steel, Signed Hamish Mackie
    Numbered Edition of 12
    Dated 2024

    38cm high x 63cm long x 47cm wide
    (15″ x 25″ x 18.5″)

Hamish has created a contemporary cowrie shell sculpture, cast into marine grade stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish.

Since the earliest times, cowrie shells have been regarded as objects of value to many different cultures. They are variously associated with womanhood and fertility, birth and death, good luck and wealth. The name cowrie comes from the Swahili word ‘kauri’ meaning ceramic or porcelain.

  • Bald Eagle by Hamish MacKie £72,000

Bald Eagle by Hamish MacKie £72,000

    Bronze, Signed Hamish Mackie
    Numbered Edition of 12
    Dated 2023

    194cm high x 132cm long x 62cm wide (76.5″ x 52″ x 24.5″)

Having seen bald eagles in Canada and the US, and then studied them at Batsford Falconry centre, Hamish was delighted to be commissioned to make this life size sculpture by an American collector.

It is to be mounted on a large granite boulder outdoors in front of the house with the estuary behind. Hamish took a scientific approach, having each feather laser cut for the complex armature. This detailed sculpture has a wonderful feeling of flight as the bird banks around. Possibly one of Hamish‘s most dynamic sculptures to date.

Song to the Creator III by Andy Hopper £46, 500

Stainless steel and Bronze. Hot forged and polished.

    Artwork – 1500mm x 900mm x 670mm

    Overall height – 2200mm

Origonal artwork. The 3rd piece in the Song to the Creator series.

Andy’s relationship with his work is both passionate and profound. His approach to the work offers a conduit which puts him in direct connection with the source power creator. As wild a claim as this sounds in words, in practice this is a reality. All of the four elements are utilised when creating his work – Earth, Air Fire and Water. Add to this mix the physical material of the bronze and stainless steel, and magic happens. His artworks are not implied, not an impression of, you are witnessing the smoking barrel of the event. Each piece is a testament of the physical creation of positive energy.

“Look at my artworks with fresh eyes as pure energy, and will see it for what it truly is.”    – Andy Hopper

Song to The Creator III is an expression of pure joy to be alive. The original concept was borne for Andy after he had endured an extremely difficult period in his personal life. After this period, he was overjoyed to be back to full physical health. The creation of this piece was also instrumental in his recovery of his emotional health and wellbeing. Art can help us all in so many ways, it can elevate our hearts and minds, simply by being in its’ presence. Art emits energy as ripples move in a pond. The seed represents a positive thought, which given the right conditions sprouts and grows into a mighty tree. This applies to us if we nurture and care for ourselves, our families and our environment on our beautiful earth.”

“Look at my artworks with fresh eyes as pure energy, and will see it for what it truly is.” – Andy Hopper

“This meaty wonderful material that we humans have an ancient relationship with, which is tactile both physically and emotionally. This piece represents transcending our physical bodies and of a greater scale of our universe than our day to day reality.
Further exploration of the deeper conversation of space and physics, our entire universe is constructed with the same set of ingredients, in different conditions.
Given differing circumstances, this piece could be a molten object, and considering what it took to make it, this statement stands on the fine line of actually being true. Explosive force and extreme heat allowed this piece to be borne into existence and the evidence of this is clear to see.
What was hard, became malleable, then became hard again. The same material in different states of matter.
We can also be so many more things than just what we think we are in our daily lives. We can elevate beyond, just simply by using the magic of our God-Given gifts of imagination and creative energy. This piece embodies this. It is a metaphor of us and what we can be.”
    – Andy Hopper

  • Sol by Jamie Hart – £12,500

Sol by Jamie Hart – £12,500

English Oak & 24K Gold Leaf

    1900x600x400

    Jamie on his piece:

This is my take on the pagan sun deity Sol (also called sunna) she was the goddess of
the sun, while her brother, mani, the God of the moon. Made from a naturally beautiful,
curved trunk of brown oak Circa (1700-1750) sourced locally here in Dorset. She stands
on a rusted metal plinth and is slightly larger than life. With many features in the wood
itself I wanted the grain to follow the contours of her figure, she fixes you in her gaze and
radiates a golden glow from deep within.
This unique sculpture is hand made and finished using a blend of natural oils and waxes
allowing this piece to live on in the great outdoors if so desired. Preservation and
aftercare is of significant importance and always offered.

  • Rosso Horse by Jonty Hurwitz – £27,000

Rosso Horse by Jonty Hurwitz – £27,000

    Paint, Copper and Stainless Steel

    40x40x45cm

Jonty Hurwitz’s sculpture is inspired by his early childhood experiences with the animal kingdom and his years spent with horses on the narrow bridle path near his home in the English countryside. It serves as a meditation on freedom by symbolising the suppressed inner nature of domesticated animals. Through this creative work of art, Hurwitz captures the wild spirit of horses, while simultaneously highlighting the irony of a world where they are largely ‘owned’. The sculpture honors the idea that horses, and other domesticated creatures, possess an in-built understanding of independence, freedom and self-sufficiency in spite of the disconnection of modern civilization from nature. This unique artwork explores the bond between the animal and its natural habitat, the power of freedom and its lack, and the ways in which our modern scientific civilization attempts to rein it in.
