WW1 soldier carved from a large section of ancient Dorset beech, it stands at 2.5 meters and is on a plinth resembling a poppy. Initially shown as part of a WW1 exhibit here in Dorset back in 2019.
In memory of all the men, women and children affected by the true horror of war, past present and future.
