“Echoes of the Undergrowth” is a commanding 95 cm vertical narrative exploring the sentinel spirits of the forest floor. In this piece, multiple hand-sculpted visages emerge from a complex, fluid
architecture of climbing roses and ancient vines, caught in a moment of silent observation. Expertly rendered in Paltiya, the work possesses a dense, archival quality with the tactile weight of weathered
stone or seasoned timber. This specialized medium is engineered for permanent longevity, making the work fully weatherproof and highly resistant to environmental change.
To bring out the history in the textures, the surface is meticulously hand-painted with layers of fine professional acrylics to create a deep, luminous patina of mossy greens and vibrant floral highlights. The entire work is sealed with a satin UV-protective varnish, providing a durable shield against sunlight and moisture to ensure the intricate detail remains museum-quality, whether displayed in a prominent interior or a sheltered outdoor setting.” – Clare Nicholls
