  • Aviator by Liam Ball – £2,450

Aviator by Liam Ball – £2,450

    Sea oak, mahogany, brass

Full of character and nostalgic charm, this handcrafted sculpture captures the spirit of early aviation. A stylised pilot sits proudly at the controls of a classic propeller aircraft, its bold red wings and distressed finish evoking the romance of bygone air races and daring flights.

Expertly constructed from oak and mahogany driftwood, the piece combines natural materials with finely worked metal details—from the riveted engine casing to the spinning propeller—creating a rich interplay of texture and craftsmanship. The weathered patina enhances its sense of history and authenticity.

Both whimsical and skilfully made, Vintage Aviator is a celebration of adventure, imagination, and the golden age of flight.

  • Standing Minotaur by Eve Shepherd – £2,100

Standing Minotaur by Eve Shepherd – £2,100

    Unique black high fired ceramic

    63cm H x 25cm W x 20cm D

“This unique medium sized sculpture depicts a standing Minotaur figure, created in black clay with a heavily textured, volcanic surface. The figure combines a human torso with a bull’s head, featuring short, curved horns and a downward tilt of the head. The posture is still and grounded, with arms held close to the body, creating a sense of quiet weight and contained presence.

The lower section expands into an irregular, organic base that merges with the figure itself. It’s pitted texture is reminiscent of cooled lava or volcanic rock—introduces earthy tones that break through the darker surface, suggesting a form shaped by natural forces.

The upper body retains recognisable anatomy, while the lower half dissolves into texture, blurring the boundary between figure and landscape. Rather than expressing aggression, this Minotaur turns inward, his averted gaze conveying introspection. The work reflects on the primal, instinctive aspects of human nature, presenting the figure as an embodiment of something ancient, elemental, and enduring.”

  • Hera by Emily Gibbard – £3,600

Hera by Emily Gibbard – £3,600

    Ceramic

    210cm tall

Emily’s ceramic practice transforms vessels thrown on the potter’s wheel into biomorphic sculptural forms that explore body perception, identity and sexuality. While rooted in the traditions of the
pottery craft, Emily plays and experiments with thrown forms to create
abstract body representation. Her inspiration comes from work in female empowerment, studies into prehistoric sculpture and her personal journey of body discovery.

Emily is interested in stretching the possibilities of clay as a material and the freedom and energy in altering and building with the traditionally
symmetrical forms of her craft. Working intuitively is an important part of her practice.
