    “I create ceramic sculptures that explore the quiet intensity of human connection — with animals, myth, and the inner self. My figures often wear animal masks or appear entwined with animals, suggesting companionship, instinct, and transformation. Through texture and gesture, I aim to evoke stillness, emotion, and the sense of a story quietly remembered.

    I make these pots in the hope that they will become keepers of family stories , love notes , silly jokes, memories and superstitions and that they in turn become a well loved treasure.” – Jane Flint

    Perched gently atop a weathered vessel, Fawn captures a quiet moment of reflection. With arms folded around crossed legs, the small figure sits in a thoughtful pose, crowned with the delicate head of a young deer. The combination of human posture and animal form creates a gentle sense of wonder, as if the figure belongs to a forgotten woodland tale.

    Perched quietly atop a weathered pot, Raven captures a moment of quiet concentration. The figure, with the head of a raven and the body of a young person, sits absorbed in a small book, blending the worlds of nature and imagination.

    The contrast between the delicate, attentive posture and the unusual bird form gives the piece a whimsical, storybook quality.

    Quietly confident and full of character, Brock blends human presence with the unmistakable markings of a badger. With arms folded calmly across her chest, the figure stands with a gentle sense of self-possession, her expression thoughtful and watchful.

    The worn textures of the clothing and softly aged surface give the sculpture a timeless, almost folkloric atmosphere, as though the figure belongs to an old woodland tale.

    Blending the human and animal worlds, Fable creates a quietly haunting and poetic presence. The delicate figure, dressed in a simple flowing garment, is crowned with the head of a young deer, its antlers rising gently above. The contrast between the innocence of the dress and the wildness of the animal form gives the sculpture a dreamlike, almost folkloric quality.

    With its weathered textures and gentle gaze, the piece feels as though it has stepped out of a story — a symbol of nature, transformation and the mysterious connection between the human spirit and the animal world.

    Mysterious and quietly self-assured, Vixen brings together human form and animal instinct in a striking hybrid figure. Dressed in a simple, timeworn garment with arms folded calmly across her chest, the figure bears the head of a fox—alert, intelligent and watchful.

    The textured surface and weathered finish give the sculpture an ancient, storybook quality, as though she has stepped from folklore or myth.

    Rich in texture and colour, World, Moon, Sea & Sand evokes the elemental forces that shape our planet. The circular form suggests a celestial body or ancient stone, its surface alive with rugged textures reminiscent of shifting landscapes, ocean currents and weathered rock. The deep blues and earthy tones create a sense of movement and depth, hinting at sea and sky intertwined.

    At its centre, a small opening invites the viewer to look through and beyond, creating a moment of connection between the sculpture, its surroundings and the wider world. Both grounded and cosmic, the piece reflects the timeless relationship between earth, water and the rhythms of nature.
