Abigail:
The light from the West Coast of Scotland is stunning at all times, but particularly so at dusk on a clear-ish day. I’m told by collectors that it is very reminiscent of views from the West coast of Ireland and Wales, but this was painted from Gairloch , a small town in Wester Ross, on the North Coast 500 driving tour.
I never tire of the light and skies visible along that coast, I love the dusky blue of the point and island seen here, but on a good day you can see as far away as Skye
