Subliminal Series
All living things have a life cycle and the length of this can significantly influence our sense of experience in relation to our time spent with them.
Exclusively being exhibited in the great outdoors for a single season at The Cotswold Sculpture Park to obtain the desired patina that only mother nature can provide, the subliminal series offers the collector a choice. Site your sculpture indoors and enjoy it for a lifetime or continue to site it outside in the elements to have an equally rewarding although very different experience.
Some of the potential benefits from choosing the second option may not be immediately apparent but should reveal themselves with time and some subliminal exploration.
The question is, which journey is right for you?

Willow
Willow has a low environmental impact and during its growth cycle sequesters large amounts of co2 from the atmosphere. The bark even has medicinal properties. 90% of the visual volume of construction materials used in these sculptures is willow, which is grown and sourced from Somerset in the UK using sustainable methods.
Being a strong, flexible and wonderfully sustainable material to weave. Willow feels so organic and raw to create things with.
Visually, a completed willow sculpture can be an incredibly unique and beautiful piece of art to look at. When displayed inside, the sculpture can add a comforting earthy element of warmth to a building. When displayed in the great outdoors, it can often look as if the sculpture has simply grown out of the ground and formed itself in nature.
