“This sculpture was inspired by a young juvenile lion at The Cotswold wildlife park. His huge face and giant puppy like paws pressed against the glass of his enclosure as he leapt to greet us. I never forgot it.
This sculpture was modelled in clay and cast into a white solid resin composite. The first cast of this sculpture was sold at The David Shepherd wildlife foundation.” – Deborah Scaldwell-Moody
