The Reader
The Reader depicts those many people who become so engrossed in what they are reading that they become ‘as one’ with the book. It is also a homage to printed books. The Reader was shortlisted for the 2023 Visual Art Open International Emerging Artists Awards and also selected by the Royal Society of Artists for its 2024 Annual Exhibition in The Mall, London. Originally sculpted in clay, The Reader is available in a limited edition of 50 cold cast bronzes.
