This is painted from the bridge over the Thames at Ewen, a stones throw from the Sculpture Park. I paint from here several times a year as my studio is right next door. Always a different painting, different colours , moods , sky. This was painted at my favourite time, spring, when the water is receding but still visible, and the new greens are emerging.
