“This piece is inspired from my walks along the cliff tops, where I stand and watch the birds sweeping and soaring overhead, they lift my spirits and my heart rises up as see myself soaring alongside them in the sky. This connection between the human figure and the natural world is integral to my work. My sculptures are an expression of the harmony, peace and joy I find in that connection to nature.”
