SARA INGLEBY-MACKENZIE

Sara has been creating unique sculptures since graduating from the Bath Academy of Art with a first class honours degree in Sculpture and Printmaking. She has been awarded the Henry Moore Foundation Scholarship and the Gane Travelling Scholarship.

Her witty and glamorous ladies are at home in most settings they take a light hearted view of the world, exploring how in our image conscious world we wear sunglasses, go bare footed, teeter on impossible heels, and carry expensive handbags all for others to take note of.

Sara has undertaken numerous private and corporate commissions examples include Mayflower’s Edward Winslow stepping ashore on to Plymouth Rock for Droitwich Council, OAG The Airline of the Year Award and Diving with Dolphins for the Nordic Swimming Federation.

Sara exhibits her tall leggy ladies in various galleries and garden exhibitions  and her work is found in many art collections both here and abroad.

This year Sara has been invited to exhibit at the XIV Florence Biennale from the 14th to the 23rd of October.
