“I consider roe deer to be one of my signature subjects. They are a great size to sculpt and a great size to have in the garden. I’m a keen deer stalker and have spent many happy hours observing roe deer in our countryside. We have several roe deer close to home which allow me surprisingly close when walking the dog. I usually take a camera with me to gather research material.” – Hamish MacKie
