Kabiyak ng Puso is inspired by the anatomical shape of the human heart. Its literal meaning
in the Philippine language is “one half of the heart”.
More importantly, kabiyak ng puso is the idiomatic expression for “spouse”, signifying the
union of two halves to form one heart.
