I love painting outdoors and I feel truly alive when finding new ways to express the light, beauty and emotion in the landscape under the changing skies. Feeling the same excitement and wonder I felt in my childhood is what drives me to create my paintings. Oils and acrylics are my preferred mediums; working with a limited palette, I enjoy exploring abstract and impressionistic techniques using exciting colour combinations, exploring shapes, texture and experimenting with different mark-making implements.
