Hopton Wood stone

Hopton Wood stone is an English Limestone, renowned for being carved by sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. It is sadly no longer quarried for large pieces and is instead quarried for aggregate.
This minimalist carving was inspired by the female figure.
