Falling Water has taken a long time to get the look feel and sound I was aiming for. Like all my work I have tried to create a piece which brings only calm to the viewer. The water is raised with a tiny submerged pump below the sculpture and as it randomly spills from the top fills tips and empty’s pans on its way back to the pond, which ones depending on the wind on the day and the random nature of the cascade from the top. Its has a gentle sound which my video doesn’t capture as well as I would like but it also is soothing. I have made various bases to suit different types of ponds both natural or lined and I also have a solar powered option if there is no electricity supply nearby.
