This deceptively simple sculpture asks us to focus for a moment and appreciate a beautiful aspect of nature that is hidden from our view – the air.
The ‘Flags’ are made from a special light-refracting polyester film. As the wind changes direction,
they appear to go through gradual colour changes, and display a brilliant blue, magenta, yellow or green – especially vibrant in sunlight.
The polyester material of the flags is amazingly durable as it reflects virtually all UV light so protecting them from degradation. The pivot assemblies are made from stainless steel and other all-weather materials – all mounted on a solid stainless steel rod with its own spiral ground anchor.
Flags each 160cm high.
Price for the group of ten: £2450. Individual Flags £265.
