A Bronze cast from an original Wood carving from a much loved but very rotten Monterey Pine that fell in the peaceful Tiltyard of Dartington Hall Gardens, Devon.
The rotten area was left as part of the story of this iconic tree.

Joe trained as a stone mason at York College where he learnt the craft to an advanced level. This gave him the ability to create striking stone pieces in marble and limestone. Joe also produces bronze sculpture using the ancient lost wax technique. Josephs studio is based in Pateley Bridge near Harrogate North Yorkshire.’
