Ian Gill: I have drawn my inspiration from Alice In Wonderland. Just imagine what it must feel like to be a small creature on the edge of a pond with these giant monolithic bulrush & reeds towering into the sky!

What a Load of Tripe transforms the world into a sphere shaped like tripe; symbolising the tangled, often indigestible, nature of the information we consume. The intricate, visceral texture of tripe, mirrors the chaotic web of truths, half-truths and falsehoods that define our modern world. By reimagining the earth in this absurd yet thought provoking form, the piece critiques the overwhelming flood of data we are fed daily, urging viewers to question what they accept as truth.

This sculpture merges the raw, rugged beauty of Corten steel with the ethereal quality of reflection. The abstract rock form, weathered and textured, symbolises strength and resilience, while the mirrored stainless steel surface captures the fleeting, ever-changing sky. It’s a playful yet profound nod to the idea of duality-grounded yet celestial, solid yet dynamic. It invites viewers to see themselves and the world around them in new, unexpected ways.

With Pop Art and Sgt Pepper as a reference, Trippy Blooms are a series of showy, stylised flower sculptures, produced in two sizes. Their colours are deliberately dreamy, the unreal hues chosen to please the viewer.
The work is a contemporary response to open spaces, gardens and flowers. Because of their scale, the Blooms make a positive gesture and enjoy the paradox of being real yet unreal. The inspiration came from walking in a now genteel park, whilst acknowledging that once that space had been a seedy ‘pleasure garden’, with many hallucinogens on offer.
The Blooms are designed to look good in groups of mixed or single colours, and in combination of big and small or the same size. They are made in three colour combinations: Rhubarb and Custard, Snowy White and Oranges and Lemons. The petal combinations are deep pink, white, or jaffa orange and all have pale yellow edges. The Blooms have green leaves, edged with darker green and dark green stems. The back of each Bloom is leaf green. The centre stamens are all deep blue.
TheBlooms are made from aluminium, hand painted using weatherproof paint. They show the makers brush strokes and, while intended for indoors or outdoors, the paint will chip if roughly handled.
Trippy Blooms may also be purchased singly. Please enquire if you would like to commission another colour.

“This dreamy stargazing couple share a mutual connection of true love. There’s a tranquil, content confidence in their connection as they gaze skyward. I wanted to make a life size sculpture with an attractive silhouette, expressing peace within love both close up and from a distance. The bench is raised to allow the option for planting underneath; I imagine they’d look as enchanting in a beautifully planted flower bed as they would a wild flower meadow or amongst long Mediterranean grasses.” – Laura Jane Wylder

Catch of the Day is a sculpture of a man riding a unicycle. He carries a fishing rod in one hand and a net in the other. His big curved smile of success is mirrored by the curve of catch of the day balanced on top of his hat. It is the only place to carry it as the unicycle has no basket!
