  • Rising Form I by Andrew Flint – £1,800

Rising Form I by Andrew Flint – £1,800

    Large ceramic vase

Part one of Flint’s Rising Form series

    Approx 100cm tall

“My ceramic work develops through a series of related forms rather than individual pieces. Each series begins with a simple structural idea that I explore through repetition and variation, allowing the forms to evolve gradually as I work.

The pieces are primarily hand-built, a process that leaves subtle traces of making and allows the form to grow intuitively rather than being fixed at the outset. This slower approach gives space for small shifts in proportion, balance, and surface to emerge from piece to piece.

Alongside the development of form, I work closely with glaze. Each series tends to have its own palette, developed through testing and refinement until the surface feels integral to the form. Glaze is not applied as decoration but as part of the language of the work, responding to the geometry and structure of each piece.

The works exhibited at The Cotswold Sculpture Park come from three different series. While distinct in form and surface, they share a common approach: an exploration of repetition, variation, and the dialogue between clay, structure, and glaze.” – Andrew Flint

  • Young Fox II by Lucy d’Auvergne – £2,200

Young Fox II by Lucy d’Auvergne – £2,200

Iron resin fox within a rusted metal sphere.

    Approx 50cm H x 44cm W x 44cm D (including fox and metal rings)

Bespoke metal plinth can be purchased separately for £250.

Caught mid-step, this expressive fox is framed within a spherical structure of weathered steel bands, creating a striking interplay between movement and containment. The animal’s alert posture and finely textured surface bring a sense of life and character.

The rich, rusted patina of the steel echoes the earthy tones of the fox itself, allowing the sculpture to feel grounded within its natural setting. As the viewer moves around the piece, the shifting alignment of the curved bands reveals and obscures the fox in turn, offering ever-changing perspectives.

  • Mobius by Ted Edley – £4,200

Mobius by Ted Edley – £4,200

    Steel

    2m H x  2m W x  0.5m D

Standing at an impressive 2 metres tall, this bold steel sculpture presents a continuous looping form that twists seamlessly through space. Inspired by the concept of a Möbius strip, the surface appears to flow in one unbroken plane, inviting the eye to follow its elegant, infinite path.

The rich, weathered patina of the steel adds depth and character, allowing the piece to sit harmoniously within its natural surroundings while still making a strong, sculptural statement. As light moves across its curved surface, subtle variations in tone and texture are revealed, enhancing its sense of movement and form.

Monumental yet refined, Mobius is a striking exploration of continuity, balance and perception — a piece that rewards viewing from every angle.
