William Harling

William Harling was born in Middlesborough in 1946, and studied for a pre-diploma in art at the Middlesborough College of Art, before doing a Dip AD in Sculpture at Maidstone College of Art. After a thirty year career in commercial, industrial and theatre design, he became a full-time sculptor in 1997. You will find a list of his significant exhibitions below.
William is exhibiting two pieces at the Cotswold Sculpture Park in 2018. They are:
‘Chorus’ – based on the comedy/tragedy commentators in Greek theatre.
‘St Francis’ – the legendary animal protector
