Stuart works from life, in clay or wax with the model greyhound or human in front of him, exploring the architecture of line and form. The horses are more expressionistic, and elemental, they take their inspiration from travels and study in Europe and the Far East.

This year, we will be exhibiting three pieces of work by Stuart: a life size greyhound bronze (lying on the ground stretching) and a couple of 60-centimetre bronze horses inspired by classical sculptures. All three will be on oak plinths.
