Lina Carr is a sculptor who is interested in figurative works of humans, birds and animals. Throughout her career she has concentrated on constructing from life to simplify and obtain emotions. She is a member of the Oxford Sculptors’ Group.
Lina has two pieces at the Cotswold Sculpture Park this year:
“Reunited” (solid burnt oak abstract figures, male and female,c approx. 50cm high; chain-saw-cut then carved to maquette and burnt with blow torch.)
“Alfie” (bronze resin, Giacometti style) – a fun large dog for the garden.
